Governor AbdulRazaq Approves Massive Health Sector Recruitment in Kwara

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the immediate recruitment of medical and health workers into the state’s civil service.

This approval is a major step toward improving healthcare delivery in both rural and urban areas of the state.

According to Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, the recruitment will support the government’s efforts in providing quality and affordable healthcare.

She highlighted that Governor AbdulRazaq remains fully committed to transforming the health sector in Kwara through improved infrastructure and human resource development.

This development opens up new healthcare job opportunities in Nigeria, especially for young professionals. The recruitment targets various roles such as medical officers, staff nurses, midwives, pharmacists, medical lab scientists, medical record officers, and health attendants. These positions are essential to strengthening service delivery in hospitals and health centers across Kwara State.

Applicants must meet specific requirements including professional qualifications, NYSC discharge certificate, higher education certificates, WAEC or SSCE results, birth certificate or declaration of age, and a citizenship certificate.

The method of application requires candidates to submit one copy of their application letter and CV in a brown A4 envelope. The application should be addressed to: The Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, PMB:1390, Ahman Patigi Road, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The application window will run from Friday, May 9, 2025, to Sunday, May 18, 2025. Interested candidates are advised to apply on time and follow all instructions carefully.
